Bane and his men were aproaching Gotham's adjacent city of Bludhaven. He barely stepped into the deck when some assassins attacked him. Nightwing managed to knock them down but then Bane appeared and knocked Nightwing out. Bane arrived to Gotham's shore and demanded two million dollars in gold and that the League of Assasssins' members that were captured were released. His ransom demands were broadcast on local news. The Gotham City Police Department. Decided to act immediately and well as Batman and Robin.

Nightwing was tied-up upside down in one of the ships cells. Nightwing managed to escape before Mooney could return with an axe to cut the chains.

Mooney found the cell empty and some of Bane's men fired at her. She dodged the bullets and was ready to strike her attackers at any minute but she was surprised to see them falling unconscious to the ground. She thought it was Nightwing who saved her but when she came out of her hiding place she faced Batman and Robin. Nightwing arrived at the main compartment where he faced Bane. Both of them engaged in combat once more but Bane was much stronger than Nightwing. Nightwing was hurt and just before he resumed combat, Batman arrived and told him to go help Robin. The fight was resumed with Batman instead of Nightwing. Bane and Batman caused some havoc while fighting.

Robin and Mooney deactivated one charge but then were attacked by more assassins. Robin broke an steam tube wich he used as a distraction to takedown most of the assassins.

Nightwing arrived in time to help him out with their enemies. Nightwing told them about Bane's plans to overheat the core reactor making it explode. The three of them went to the reactor but it was tightly sealed. Batman worried about Bane's whereabouts as he jumped to the sea before it exploded. Original Art By Rick Burchett.
